With
the digitization of Carlisle Indian Industrial School information
thanks to Dickinson College of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, a treasure trove
of images is now available on the project’s website.
The college’s Community Studies Center (CSC) and its Archives and
Special Collections Department put the project together in 2013 and
since August of last year they have been sending teams of researchers to
the National Archives to scan and digitize information relating to
CIIS.
Here are just 12 images from the many pages available on the project’s website. View them all at CarlisleIndian.Dickinson.edu/Images.
